It finally happened!

Sophie played her first ever live show in America - and fittingly (at least I think so she did so in the city that never sleeps - my hometown of New York.

Appearing as a special guest of the Heritage of Pride, Dance on the Pier, which was the culmination of Gay Pride Week - and with The Freemasons as featured DJ's - on Sunday June 27, 2010, Sophie took the stage and dazzled the crowd like no other before her!

Did Sophie perform Not Giving Up and Revolution? Interested to see if they are as dancy and bassy as one another. Looks Like you had lovely weather for it, Sophie missed a beautiful day here in the uk we got up to 33 celicius i think it said

She said it arrived in the mail just the day before.  How's that for good timing.

Was the sound on the recording good or will we need a tracklisting?

Well, you know the songs.  The sound is ok - but get's a little muffled in places (due to the heavy bass notes, me being up front, and my little recorder not being able to handle those low frequencies).

Since this was sort of her "introduction" to the New York audience (although a lot of people did know her songs) she chose to do this overview history of her biggest songs - so she did Groovejet, Murder on the Dancefloor and Heartbreak.
